(More customer reviews)I bought the Avent Steam Sterilizer to save time and water when cleaning my Avent pump and bottles.I love this product.It only takes about 4 oz. of water and is ready in 6 minutes!I bought mine 4 years ago, so my older model does not have the electronic readout and alarm when ready, and I don't think either is necessary.Mine has a red light that goes off when the steaming is complete.The steamer comes with a basket that can be used in the dishwasher to hold small items.Here is a tip:when I first used my steamer, I had water spots on everything.I called the customer service, and they advised me to try distilled water.This worked like a charm.Apparently I had some ingredient in my well water that was causing the spots.Using distilled water was not costly, since the steamer uses so little water.
